About The News

The breaking news site for E-bay’s hottest E-boutique of the same name, and adjacent goings on.

Come to gawk and muse about pretty clothes and things, and stay for commentary site focused on curated, wearable, and high-quality vintage and used ideas.

Head over to Ebay and check out the boutique– A whole store of the thrift store gems you wish you had the patience or time to find yourself, but just don’t wanna actually.

All the things are under $50. All clothes (no shoes or accessories really) with a heavy focus on:

  1. Really nice, beautiful, super flattering dresses and evening attire. Sundresses, profesh dresses, party, cocktail and a feeeww gowns and other things.
  2. Slightly cooler than what is usually easy to find at stores, but distinctly low maintenance professional clothing for the young, modern, urban boss betch who wants to look good/completely unique and original, but has no time for no fucks….I got u sister.

It’s the stuff that is so fun to wear and totally rock–but that is sooo annoying to hunt for when your’re busy and don’t have time to scour stores. The kinds of things that are ‘nice to haves’ in a wardrobe but that completely feed your soul when you wear them.

As a frequent thrifter, I always see amazing things in this vein but usually resist buying them because, well, its impossible to ever wear THAT many clothes really… and minimalism… and not becoming a horder… and Kon Marie…There comes a moment in every thrifters life, I think, when one has to have to have a come to Jesus moment with themselves that, no matter how inexpensive, or fun to procure, you just do not need any more god damn clothes. So I would occasionally by things for friends or just because I liked it, and now I’ve decided to open up my wonka shop of fun items to the world.

Currently, I’ve been heavily creatively influenced in my selection and general inspiration by; British +American Vogue, the portfolio of fashion featured in Sex in the city, the 1970s, 1990s, Common Sense by Thomas Paine, and the profound wisdom of the French women (Parisians in particular) on the topic of jois de vivre/style/being divine.

Whether you have a big event or occasion you are seeking a brilliant look for or you just want to cool things for everyday wear, but don’t want to spend the big bucks this site is for you.

Have a look around not only the E bay store, but through the content on this site. I’m so glad to have you.
